Water soldier: Native to Britain , it thrives at the edge of lakes and rivers, growing underwater and popping up in summer. It can thrive at depths of up to two metres, and has put down roots in the U.S. and Australia It's too soon to know if hand pulling or raking can check its spread in our waters.
